KC Strategies Becomes the First Firm in the Clio's 58-Year History to be Recognized for a Political Campaign Ad
KC Strategies was honored in September of 2017, along with media and advertising giants such as Leo Burnett, Jones Knowles Ritchie, McCann New York, Turner Entertainment Networks, Google, Netflix, and Twitter, by the Clio Awards in New York for its work during the 2016 election cycle.
The Clio Awards is an annual award program that recognizes innovation and creative excellence in advertising, design and communication, as judged by an international panel of advertising professionals. Time Magazine has described the event as the world's most recognizable international advertising awards.
KC Strategies received a silver Clio in the Public Relations/Public Affairs discipline for efforts on Republican Gerald Daugherty’s successful re-election campaign in Travis County. With the nod from the Clio Awards, KC Strategies becomes the first firm in the nearly six-decade long history of the program to receive a statue for a political campaign ad.
