The World's Most Prestigious Advertising Awards Show Recognizes KC Strategies
In 2017, KC Strategies received a nod from The One Show which recognizes the world's best creative work in advertising, interactive, design and branded entertainment each year. The firm was a finalist and "Merit Award" winner in the Film category for Best Long Form Single Ad with Gerald Daugherty's "Please Re-Elect Gerald...Please" sixty-second spot. Of the 21,844 entries submitted in 2017, there were 571 finalists representing 38 countries.
The One Show is produced by The One Club which was founded in 1961 as the Advertising Writers Association of New York. In 1969, it became The Copy Club and in 1979, the name changed for the last time to The One Club. In 1973, The One Show was created.
