Three-Time Golden Eagle Award Winner
Chad Crow Also Named a 2016 "All Star" by the Goldie Peer Choice Awards
KC Strategies has been honored by the Goldie Peer Choice Awards with two "Golden Eagle" awards for it's work on the Citizens Against Rail Taxes campaign. C.A.R.T. led the effort to defeat Austin's $1.38 billion light rail bond proposal (Austin Proposition 1) on the November 2014 general election ballot.
The first award was for "Overall Campaign Excellence" in the ballot initiative category for a series of television ads, and the second was an individual special category for "Use of Humor Excellence."
In 2017, KC Strategies received another Golden Eagle for "Excellence in Television" for the Honest Transportation Solutions PAC spot which spoofed a horror movie trailer to illustrate the absurdity of the City of Austin's 2016 bond proposal.
Additionally, one of KC Strategies principals, Chad Crow, was named to the Goldies All-Star Class of 2016. Twenty-two individuals, firms and campaigns around the country were recognized for their outstanding work during 2014 and 2015, and for achieving noteworthy success in the political and public affairs fields.
